This is quite an amazing torch. It’s quoted as having a 1450000 Lumens output and yes, it's REALLY bright and very lightweight considering it's size. It comes in a display type box together with a charging lead and basic instructions, although there are graphic diagrams on the side of the box that get the message across but it’s all very simple to operate with just one switch. It has a 350° rotating head with super bright LED output that really does light the place up! The old joke about a ‘solar powered torch’ is a reality here as there is a solar panel in the base that helps to keep it charged and quite handy. There is provision for fitting a carry strap although none was supplied – or at least not in this box. It has nine modes from clear bright light to red, flashing etc that you obtain by keep pressing the single top mounted switch. It’s also waterproof: there is small see-through plastic door that protects the charging socket and that a small rubber seal on that as attention to detail is very good. It’s a very well designed torch and I can’t think of any niggles plus the swivelling head is very handy. There is an array of status lights, in blue, that lets you know the reserve power level. As to the quoted duty cycles of charging and actual light output in use, its quite early days so far but at least it doesn’t get warm or hot in use so far (unlike some torches I have had) but the sheer light output is quite something in my humble opinion.

This is a fantastic torch to keep in the car for use in emergencies, or for general use in the garage, garden or workshop. I was amazed at how light it is to carry, having said that I would add that the construction quality and the materials used are excellent. There are multiple, easily accessible lighting modes to choose from. All of them are very useable and the torch delivers a powerful beam I find useful in many scenarios. Being IPX6 waterproof as well is a real bonus. A great torch that I find really useful to have around.

This double light unit is much more than just a torch. Is 5v output is a nice addition that make this a multi-unction device. The solar charger has a green LED to show its working. The light has a brilliant strong beam as well as the more wide angle general light. This torch is an ideal emergency device to have on a windowsill.
