Got this as my previous best torch in the world let me down. Its a fairly robust bit of kit, and easy to set up etc. I have not had any issues with the usb cover yet. Light coverage is realistically about 30 meters out (being able to derine the lit object, rather then just the light being on it) with the largest cone, and at best probs about 100 to 150 meters on full zoom (narrowest cone). At a stretch 200m. I dont know where the 3000ft comes from, maybe its chinese feet. But still very good coverage compared to other torches I have had. Battery life is good, I get about 5 dog walks in before I get down to about 75%, so thats about 4 hours. To be honest, I am thinking of getting one of these for my mountain bike to strap to my helmet. Its a good bit of kit.

The torch looks ok and has a nice box. The two power options is nice and the recharge of phones is now becoming standard and a nice facility. The torch isn't as bright as they make out, in floodlight mode it's ok the light is just about bright enough and no issues. The zoom in however, is a different story, it does zoom in but the brightness is nothing like the images shown in the ad... Mine has the annoying crosshair effect in zoom mode, a real shame and doesn't look great, the laser effect isn't that great either it's just not bright enough. I have another torch that was the same price that is unbelievably bright and like a laser ilat night up to 200 yards. I had hoped this would be similar but it's left it in the dark unfortunately. Still it'll be used for walking the dog, just not as good as they claimed.

To be honest, I still can't believe how bright this torch is for the size and weight. It easily goes into a coat pocket and at around 300g is not too heavy to carry. The amount of light can fill a room like a ceiling light (the 'big light') and the distance that the narrow beam reaches outdoors is like a car's main beam. It is constructed from tough metal and weather sealing is evident with a cover over the connectors and an 'O' ring on the battery compartment. I particularly wanted a torch with a long life rechargeable battery and the Li-ion 26650 cell supplied has still not needed to be recharged. It's still indicating 3/4 full after over 3 hours of use (mainly on the low power setting). It's useful that it comes with an adapter and 3x AAA cells for emergency use as well. They include a cable to charge the torch from a USB port/adapter. The same cable can be switched around and connected to a different port on the torch to provide power out to other devices, such as a mobile phone or tablet. The whole kit comes in a useful, hard plastic sealed box to keep everything together on a camping trip or holiday.

Best LED torch I have ever owned. Purchased for use on shopping deliveries at night. Main reason for choosing this touch was to have one that could illuminate door numbers / house names by shining out of the van window and not having to keep stopping and jumping out to look closer at the door numbers etc. This torch is more than capable of doing this. I've used it for a year now without any issues. Even if the rechargeable battery deteriorates , it can be replaced easily, or you can use the normal lead acid batteries with the adapter. The light is brilliant white and doesn't fade with distance. If it broke, would I buy again? Absolutely without hesitation.
