The media could not be loaded. Brought this mainly for a 2.5 long tunnel near me and wanted a very bright torch (something much more substantial than my phone light). This did not disappoint, it is very bright and extremely useful in pitch black places. You can adjust the light width by using the front slide cylinder. With it all the way pushed in, it will light pretty much the whole area in front of you. As you pull the cylinder outwards, the light will become more focused, until it's all the way out when it turns into a spotlight that seems to go at least 1/4 of a mile. I went through a canal tunnel near me and took about 1 hour to walk through, and it only used 1 of the 4 bars of battery, so it seems to last for quite a while. Something I didn't realise when I received it is that the torch itself can be used as a battery charger for other things. It has a standard USB socket so you can charge your phone off it for example. The construction of it is very solid, all metal, and has a solid weight to it, all the more reassuring if you are somewhere pitch black in the dead of night, if you get my meaning. It has 3 settings, on full blast, about 60% dimmer brightness, and a flashing mode. You can get brighter ones than this, but if you are looking for a torch for night time walking, dark places, security rounds, power cuts, then this is more than enough.

So powerful that it shines a beam of light onto the fence at the bottom of our garden in broad daylight . Also I have found that if you shine it on the ceiling, even in daylight it will show up every paint imperfection and spiders web that you had no idea was there and make you realise that you are actually living in an arachnids paradise The torch itself is quite heavy, even the handle gets a bit warm with the power it’s generating but overall it’s a fantastic bit of kit . I imagine that it would be great for distracting / defence purposes as it’s so bright it would be impossible to look at the beam

Good basic but very bright torch. The torch arrived fully charged (all 4 blue charger lights on) and produced a very bright light which can be varied between wide angle and spot. The spot has a very long range - perhaps 500 metres. I deliberately left in on with the bright setting to see now light output varied. After an hour it became noticeably dimmer and then continued to reduce output until it went out after 2.5 hours. I then recharged it. It took 6 hours to charge using a 100w charger which was running at 7w output. Much of the time it didn’t seem to be charging at all - the 4 blue lights came on at irregular intervals. All 4 are now on again and torch is working well. The security flashing mode has a low frequency and I suspect would do little to frighten an attacker. The bottom line is this is a basic bright torch which serves its purpose. At £22 it is good value for money - assuming that it does not breakdown as described by some purchasers!

This is a really impressive product. Immensely bright and powerful. It comes in 3 modes - bright, lower power and flashing. The beam is adjustable between wide and specific spotlight Really solid quality build thst feels nice in your hand. Unfortunately had to give it 1 star as it now won't charge after only a month of owning it. Tried several different chargers, varying in power but unfortunately it doesn't give any implication that it's charging and battery indicator is still saying the same. Shame because this is a really nice product that I really liked. UPDATE: The aftersales team reached out providing brilliant customer service in offering a full refund or another product. A very bright & compact although slightly bulky, torch. It easily fits in my winter jacket side pocket, leaving room for your hand too. I use it when walking my dog at 5am every morning and go to the local fields. The intensity of the bright white beam is really remarkable and it can be focussed into a narrow beam with an incredibly long range of around a mile. The only problem I get is trying to locate the on/off switch on the base of the torch when switching it on. It is not luminous. So there is quite a bit of fumbling involved. However, it is easy to switch off providing you hold down the illuminated switch for a few seconds. All in all, a great product, sturdy, well made and good value. Every home needs one.
