I didn't realise I needed one of these until I was out walking the dogs before sunrise, and someone across the field decided to dazzle me and do it repeatedly day after day. Bearing in mind it takes 20 minutes for eyes to adjust to the darkness. The first package was lost in the post, so I had to purchase again via a gift card refund. When the package arrived, the battery was already charged around 88%. The next day I was out on the field, testing the distance and brightness. I realised that pulling the lens forward narrowed the intensity of the beam. I don't endorse revenge, just being prepared to teach a lesson, and this certainly packs a punch as to be so enabling.

Cet ensemble est donc très complet notamment avec deux possibilités d'alimentation : la batterie et les piles AAA de secours en cas de décharge de la batterie. La surprise est une petite lampe LED avec crochet et aimant : c'est toujours pratique d'avoir ce petit objet sur soi en camping, notamment. La lampe est lourde et solide. Elle est équipée d'une dragonne. Son unique bouton permet de passer à chacun des modes : fort, moyen, bas, clignotant et SOS. Le faisceau, que l'on peut faire varier en taille en déplaçant le haut de la torche, est très puissant et d'une couleur blanc neutre. Très intéressant, un petit indicateur est présent sur le corps de la lampe qui indique le niveau de batterie restant. En conclusion, cette torche est à la fois puissante, solide et pratique, notamment pour les activités en plein air et le bricolage.

En soi, cette lampe est de bonne qualité avec un corps aluminium épais, un accus de type 26650 de théoriquement 5000 mAh Accus no name. MAIS là s'arrête l'aspect qualitatif de la lampe torche. En effet, celle-ci n'est pas du tout aussi puissante qu'elle n'y paraît ! La puissance moyenne "électrique" consommée est d'environ SEIZE watts (4 V. 4 A.) MAIS pendant trente secondes.... !!! Consommation qui diminue pour progressivement se stabiliser à CINQ watts !!! Donc après un premier effet Waouh... cinq minutes d'utilisation plus tard, vous avez entre les mains une simple lampe de poche.... !! À noter que beaucoup de lampe de ce type, réagisse de la même façon. Prix : 40 € !!
